HCHA is passionate about meeting the needs of it clients where they are. The Independence Program recognizes that renting can be a first step to owning a home. The Affordable Housing Division works closely with our clients to assess their readiness for homeownership. Clients are provided affordable housing opportunities in a safe and supportive environment. They are also supported by downpayment and closing cost assistance and pre- and post purchase counseling.

First class affordable housing is available to families and individuals. We take seriously our charge and work hard to maintain the trust of our clients. Our clients are also required to take a proactive role in the process by adhering to all program guidelines.
