Statement from Interim CEO Tom McCasland

"The Harris County Housing Authority has a critical mission to provide safe, affordable and quality housing for people in our community.  It is a great honor to be selected to move the agency forward in the interim.  The Board of Commissioners and I look forward to working with the dedicated and hardworking staff of the Authority to make the Harris County Housing Authority the most effective and responsive organization to the people we serve and to the citizens of Harris County.   We will be transparent, accountable, and aggressive in our effort to help those most in need of safe and secure homes where they can live and raise their families in our community."
