the long-range vision required to meet local
community needs;

actively for the future of the Housing Authority;

To establish
policies that provide direction for the agency,
reflect the values of the board, and comply
with applicable federal, state, and local
laws and regulations;

To hire
a qualified executive director to implement
housing programs, manage staff, and assume
responsibility for day-today Authority operations;
|

To evaluate,
adopt, and monitor operating budgets; |
| • |
To monitor
the finances of the Authority, the progress
the Authority is making toward its mission,
and the performance of the executive director;
|
| • |
To act
as an advocate for the Authority and serve
as a link between the Authority and the community.
